Please review the consultation agreement before booking the meeting
This Initial Consultation Agreement is made, on the date selected by the client in the online booking system, between Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) Akshar Mistry (the “RCIC”), Membership Number R706304, and you, the Client. The purpose of the consultation is stated in the online booking system below for the type of consultation selected by the client.
Fees: The client agrees to pay the fees, in advance, as stated in the online booking system below for the type of consultation selected by the client.
Limits of engagement: The service to be provided by the RCIC is only for a single consultation and for the time duration selected by the Client in the online booking system. After the completion of the scheduled consultation, the RCIC shall not provide further advice, on the matters discussed in the consultation or other, to the client unless a separate second agreement is signed by the Client and the RCIC.
Client responsibility: The Client understands that he/she must be accurate and honest in the information and documentation he/she provides to the RCIC and that any inaccuracies may void this Agreement, or seriously affect the outcome of the application or the retention of any status he/she may obtain. The Client also understands that failure to provide relevant information will impact the advice provided by the RCIC.
Advice current to the date of consultation: The Client acknowledges that immigration/citizenship laws, policies and/or procedures are subject to change at any time and as such the advice provided by the RCIC is accurate to the date of consultation/meeting.
Refund policy: Fees shall be earned by the RCIC immediately upon the commencement of the consultation. Fees that have been earned under this agreement are non-refundable.
Cancellations/No-Shows/Re-scheduling Appointment: If the Client wishes to cancel or reschedule their appointment, they must do so at least 24 hours before the appointment time, or else, refund will not be provided. If the client misses the appointment without cancelling in advance, no refund will be issued. If the client wishes to re-schedule their appointment, they can do so, only once, and it must be done 24 hours before the appointment time.
Confidentiality: All information and documentation provided by the Client will not be divulged to any third party, other than agents and employees of the RCIC, without prior consent, except as demanded by the Council or required under law. The RCIC is also bound by the confidentiality requirements of Article 8 of the Code of Professional Ethics. The Client agrees to the use of electronic communication and storage of confidential information. The RCIC will use his/her best efforts to maintain a high degree of security for electronic communication and information storage.
Applicable law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province/Territory of British Columbia, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Please be advised that Akshar Mistry is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, is bound by its By-law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations.
By paying the fee in the booking tool below the client agrees that he/she has read this initial consultation agreement and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in it.
